MASSIMO MARINELLI APPPOINTED TO LEEDS UNITED BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Aser Ventures’ Massimo Marinelli has been appointed to the Leeds United Board of Directors, alongside Peter Lowy and Sandro Mencucci.

The trio will join Leeds United Chairman and Aser Ventures Founder and Chairman Andrea Radrizzani, Leeds United Vice Chairman Paraag Marathe and Leeds United CEO Angus Kinnear on the Board of Directors.

Massimo is an Executive Board Member of Aser Ventures and leads the group’s investment activities. A regular at Elland Road since Andrea first invested in the club in 2017, Massimo played a key role in the recent new investment in the club from the 49ers Enterprises.

Prior to joining Aser Ventures, Massimo spent 15 years in investment banking, latterly as Managing Director, Head of EMEA Media & Internet at UBS Investment Bank where he led and executed transactions for Formula 1, Dorna/MotoGP, Sky, Viacom and Perform amongst others.

The appointment is subject to Premier League clearance.
